Art Instruction for Adults and Children

Group instruction (drop-in) allows for students to work with the project and material of their choice while receiving one-on-one instruction. Private and small group instruction is personalized to the individual student(s) goals. All levels of experience are encouraged. Children's Group: Ages 6-17.
Adult Group: 18 and up.

Polymer Clay Bead Making Class

Learn fascinating techniques to intricate and detailed that they can even be made in repeat patterns. After first creating the cane, it can then be used for making beads, pendants, pins, earrings, or to cover a small bottle.

Portrait Painting in Oils
Carin Hebenstreit
Carin Hebenstreit, a nationally renowned oil portrait painter will instruct her students using the technique of glazing with oils in a two-day workshop. Her technique, influenced by the Renaissance masters and honed through years of study abroad, incorporates glazing layers of paint over her underpainting to produce luminosity and richness of color. The students will replicate the famous painting of Isabella Wolff by Sir Walter Lawrence.
